Description

Awamat are the Middle East’s answer to doughnut holes — small, golden deep-fried dough balls with a crispy exterior and a pillowy soft center, finished with a generous drizzle of honey or sugar syrup. Known as awamat in Lebanon and much of the Arab world, these bite-sized sweets are a fixture at street food stalls, Ramadan iftars, and family celebrations. They’re light enough that you’ll eat a handful before you realize it.

Made fresh at Al-Hamdani Sweets. Best eaten warm — crispy outside, fluffy inside, sweet all the way through.

Available in:

  • 1 Piece — just one to try
  • 3 Pieces — the right amount to share
  • 1 lb (13 pieces) — the crowd-pleaser portion
